The cleanroom is an unusual workplace, but not an unreasonable one. Most of our colleagues had never been in a cleanroom before and were understandably apprehensive. But that changes quickly—once you get used to the procedures, you develop your own routines and a clear understanding of them. After just a few weeks, everything feels familiar: the airlock, the protective clothing, and the quiet that this place demands. What really counts is a practical understanding of the work, attention to detail, and a willingness to adapt to a new work environment. We’ll take care of the rest!

At Insecotec, we don’t focus on cleanroom work in general, but rather on the implementation of fully automated, ceiling-mounted transport systems in semiconductor manufacturing. We bring OHT systems to life. If you have manual dexterity, technical understanding, and a passion for precision work, you’ll find a diverse range of opportunities in the cleanroom with us.
During installation, the systems are brought into the cleanroom, assembled, and integrated into the existing environment, or new environments are set up.
Typical tasks include:
- Installation and alignment of ceiling rails and rail connectors under cleanroom conditions
- Installing and securing switches, curves, and crossing elements
- Installation of OHT vehicles and charging units on the ceiling structure
- Wiring and connecting busbars and data cables
- Inspection and documentation of the installed components prior to handover
Installation is followed by commissioning. During this phase, the installed systems are tested, adjusted, and fine-tuned to ensure they operate safely and reliably under the required conditions.
Typical tasks include:
- Measuring and aligning the tracks to specified tolerances
- Test runs of OHT vehicles on newly installed track sections
- Configuring control parameters, speed, and braking behavior
- Testing the interfaces with process systems, lift modules, and storage systems
- Fault analysis and readjustment in the event of deviations during operation
- Documentation of all tested functions and approval steps
Even after commissioning, the systems remain part of an ongoing support program. During operation, the focus is on ensuring system availability, quickly resolving malfunctions, and smoothly implementing any necessary adjustments.
Typical tasks include:
- Regular inspection and maintenance of tracks, switches, and vehicles
- Troubleshooting and repairs during downtime or in the event of operational irregularities
- Replacement of wear parts such as wheels, grippers, and drive components
- Support with software updates and adjustments to control parameters
- Providing technical support for expansions and modifications during ongoing operations

The foundation of every functioning OHT system lies in meticulously installed electrical systems and precisely calibrated mechatronics. Our specialists install power rails and data cables, configure control systems, and ensure that vehicles operate reliably and safely.
To this end, we are looking for, among others: electricians, electronics technicians, automation technicians, mechatronics engineers, and systems engineers.
Before a vehicle can run, the track must be in place. Rails, switches, curves, and crossing components are assembled, aligned, and inspected under cleanroom conditions. Our skilled workers bring technical plans to life with millimeter precision.
For this, we are looking for, among others: industrial mechanics, plant mechanics, construction mechanics, or assemblers with experience in plant engineering or special-purpose machine construction.
An OHT system consists of many components that must all work together seamlessly. Storage systems, lift modules, and process equipment operate reliably only when interfaces are properly configured and control systems are precisely calibrated. Our specialists handle exactly that—even when the system is already up and running.
For this, we are looking for: IT systems engineers, automation engineers, and system integrators with experience in industrial environments.
Every installed component is inspected before it is approved. From calibrating the rails to preparing the acceptance documentation, we ensure that nothing is left to chance. In semiconductor manufacturing, tight tolerances are the norm. Our quality assurance is therefore an integral part of every project.
As a general rule, projects rarely go according to plan if no one is keeping track of everything. Someone needs to be on site to coordinate, step in when necessary, and ensure that all trades work together seamlessly—all while keeping an eye on deadlines, the budget, and resources. That’s how many individual parts come together to form a functioning project as a whole.
