We are looking for you to join us as a Quality Control Team Leader (m/f/d) in the field of automatic transport system installation at our Dresden location.
Your Responsibilities
- Conducting quality controls and inspections throughout the entire installation and commissioning process of transport systems for manufacturing automation in the semiconductor industry
- Independently performing interim inspections and conducting final inspections of systems, bolted connections, attached components, electrical connections, as well as warning and safety labels
- Performing visual inspections of completed installations and verifying their compliance with installation drawings
- Carefully documenting test results and preparing quality reports
- Monitoring compliance with quality standards, industry standards, and legal requirements
- Providing support on quality-related issues
- Participating in the creation and revision of protocols and checklists
- Providing technical leadership to a team and training new employees
- Actively and closely collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and implement quality improvements
Your Profile
- Completed vocational training in a mechanical or electrical engineering field, or certification as an industrial foreman or technician specializing in mechanics, mechatronics, or electrical engineering
- Demonstrable experience in the field of quality control and quality assurance
- Practical knowledge of the assembly and installation of mechanical and/or electrical components and systems
- Ability to lead and develop a small team in a cooperative and motivating manner
- Strong quality awareness combined with a structured and extremely precise approach to work
- A good understanding of quality standards and processes, as well as relevant legal regulations
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to be assertive
- Proficiency in MS Office
- German and English skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe on occasion—preferred
- A driver’s license is required
